Hey everyone! Catrice has a bunch of new products coming soon as part of the standard range. I've already written a post featuring the new products that I'm excited about. This post is about all the new products that I'm not loving for some reason - the BLA products - basically I think they're a miss. This isn't based on the quality of the products, I just don't like the design or the concept or they're meant for younger girls, etc. Let me know if you disagree.
I'm not a girl who likes lip gloss, so that's why all these are on my BLA-list. I like the design of the Infinite Shine Lip Gloss, but still, not for me. These might be great for someone who loves lipgloss, they have a huge selection of colors.
Lipsticks: 330 The Lips Are On Fire (I don't wear orange lipstick, so...), 300 Kiss Me If You Can (it looks like it has shimmer/glitter in it, which is not for me; of course, these are just the promo pictures, I'll have to see it in person, but so far I'm not loving it). As far as the Ultimate Shine collection goes, I'm a Matt-girl, so I've been avoiding these lipsticks, and will continue to do so.
I already have a ton of lip pencils, and since I'm trying to use the make-up I already have, I won't be getting these.
And while I really can say Catrice eyeshadows are great quality, these colours are not my cup of tea:
Absolute Eye Colour Quattro in 110 Pool Position - meh. I don't like green eyeshadows. Sorry!
Absolute Bright Eyeshadow Palette 010 Candy Warhol- it's safe to say I'm an eyeshadow palettes nut - and I love Catrice eyeshadow palettes, but this one just doesn't strike me. I don't like the individual shades, I don't like the overall look. I will miss this one. It just doesn't make my heart beat faster. :(
Eye pencils, eyeliner-pencils and mascaras are just not a thing I get excited over. I know many of you are different, but that's how I feel.
Out of all the lashes that will be in the upcoming Lash Flash Limited Edition, THESE are the ones they're putting to standard range?????!! No! What a disappointment. I'm in love with all the other lashes, but these I don't like. The individual lashes are just too much work for me, and the thick ones seem like just too much - not even Kardashian-like, just full-on drag-queen look. And the kind of lashes I like are just something to open up your eyes, but that are not in-your-face-overdone. You know what I mean? Anyways, I'll skip. Not my cup of tea.
These nail polishes don't wow me - some of the shades I have from other brands or from limited editions (almost identical), and some of these I know I would not be wearing.
I don't like the Multi Colour Blush because it's too orange for me. As far as the Defining blush goes (shade 080 Sunrose Avenue), these promo pictures have to be some of the worst I've ever seen. The shade looks....dirty? I don't like it at all. Let's hope it looks better in store.
This Mattifying powder might be good, but I'll wait for a review. I have a mattifying Catrice powder from a limited edition that I haven't used up yet, so that's why I think I'll skip this product.
So what do you guys think? Are these products BLA? Or not?
