Nail Look: Ombre Pink With Water Decals

Hey guys! Yes, I'm wearing Ombre nails again. How can I not? They look so pretty, they're so much fun, and this gorgeous weather we've been having just screams 'Ombre'. This nail look is simple to create, yet is guaranteed to draw attention. After a few months of having problems with my nails (they got so short), I finally got them to grow longer (thanks Eveline 8in1), so I'm enjoying my long nails again.

Products used:
Thumb: L'oreal no. 603 (old)
Second: Catrice, 360 Raspberry Fields Forever (old)
Middle: Essence (old colour&go collection)
Ring: essence, colour & go, no.106, Free Hugs
Small: essence, stampy polish, 001 White
Water Decals: Born pretty, 1 Sheet Classical Flower Vine Pattern Nail Art Water Decals Transfers Sticker #H013 (CLICK HERE to purchase this product)
My opinion: I love water decals, they're so easy to use and you can create an amazing look within seconds. I've found that I enjoy black water decals the most, because you can combine them with any nail polish shade, and they go great with everything. Also your nail art won't look over-done or like it's too much. It's great to put water decals while wearing Ombre nails because it really ties the whole look together. What can I say, I adore this water decals design!
This Ombre look is a similar version of a nail look I did before, you can find it HERE. So, are you over Ombre, or are you still loving it, like I am? Thanks for stopping by, don't forget to follow me, and have a great day!

Love, J.

Ultrathin Gold Nail Ornaments

Hello guys. I'm back with a nail look I enjoyed. This is the first time I'm trying out this type of nail decorations. If you're wondering how come my nails are so short, the reason is, well, my nails got so damaged that I had to take a break and just use treatments and wait until they get back to normal. But thing are getting better already.

Products used:
Red nail polish: Maybelline, mini colorama (old), no. 150
Gold glitter top coat: smart girls get more, no. 117
Top coat: Essence, studio nails, better than gel nails, top sealer - a great product for sealing in nail art.
Nail decorations: BornPretty, 30Pcs/set Ultrathin, Diamond Crown Cross Design Charming 3D Nail Art Decoration, no.16683 (pattern no.32)

This is the first time I'm trying out this type of nail decorations. They're very thin, and they're easily bendable, but they're firm enough and will not snap or break while bending. This is how I use this product: first I would bend the nail decorations to fit my nail shape (I do this before I've put any nail polish on). Then I apply two coats of nail polish, and I use tweezers to place the decoration onto my nail while the nail polish is still wet. After this I use a tool (or a toothpick) to push the decoration into place, making sure that no ends are sticking out. When the bottom polish is dry, I apply a top coat to seal everything into place. That's how I do it, maybe someone has a different method. This turned out to be very good and the decorations stayed in position for 4 days until I removed them. But it's important not to have any parts sticking out, so make sure you apply them correctly. The first time I tried them it didn't all go smoothly (photos below), but I soon got the hang of things and I figured out how this works. All in all, the decorations are fun, it's easy to learn how to use them, and I think they look really good on nails, they really stand out. ;)
This photo below with green nail polish shows the first time I tried these nail decorations, and it didn't turn out so well. I put too much nail polish of a bad texture, and then I pressed the decorations too hard, and then I absolutely ruined it with top coat. But now I know better. It can't all go perfect the first time, right? ;)
The green polish used here is Catrice's 'Run Forrest Run', I also used some old Maybelline and Essence glitter top coats. In this photo below you can see how the nail decorations arrived (also, notice how damaged my nails got from all the nail polish and not taking care of them *sadface*):
I really like how the red look turned out. These decorations look really good against a dark background and red shades, but they also go really well with nude or baby pink polishes. All in all, a fun product that I've enjoyed trying out.

Cat Water Decals For My Cat

Hello everyone! I bring to you a nail look featuring the cutest ever water decals. You know I love my cat (you can see him on my Instagram page), and this look is for him, since he had his birthday recently. He's a big boy already.

Base: essence, studio nails, XXL nail thickener - It's ok, nothing special.
Nude polish: Deborah Milano, Pret A Porter, no.46, Get The Nude Look - I was surprised at how bad the texture of this polish was, compared to any other polish I have from this collection. It's very thick and gives uneven coverage. Not their best polish. The shade is fine though, maybe a little too bright for me.
Gold top coat: essence, Metal Glam LE, 'Steel-ing The Scene' - A little tricky to use, but it looks stunning.
Sealing top coat: essence, studio nails, better than gel nails, top sealer - Their top coats are the best, they dry really fast, provide protection for my nail art and give my nails a great shine.
Water decals: Born PrettyNail Art Water Decals Transfers Sticker Mini Black Cat Pattern #BLE1498 - Yeah, these are freaking adorable. I've said it many times, I prefer water decals over stamping because it's much easier to do. And these are so cute, and I'll definitely take them out for Halloween as well.
You can buy this product HERE, and make sure you check out BornPretty's website HERE (make sure you use the 10% off coupon at the bottom of this post).
So that's it for today's post. Are you a fan of water decals as well? Are you a proud cat owner? My cat isn't all black, but I always thought black cats were the prettiest, and they're not scary at all (of course).

Thanks for stopping by,
Love, J.

Gold Bubbles On Raspberry Red

Hello guys and happy Friday! Today I have to share with you a fun nail look. I adore these gold nail decorations, they match the berry-red shade of this nail polish really well. It was a fun look to wear, it's great if you want to spice up your work week, but even better suited for a special occasion. By the way, what do you think of my bling ring?

Products used:
Nail polish: essence, colour&go, 175 be berry now!, 3 coats: I wore a base coat underneath, as I always do. This shade is perfect for my skin tone, it's the shade of a ripe raspberry. It really brought out the shade of the gold decorations and really made them pop. This polish has the perfect texture and it dries fast. One coat is enough for full coverage, but I wore three coats because I wanted to see if the decorations would stick without using nail glue (they did). Essence changed up their entire nail polish line, so you could find this polish recently on sale. I only noticed tip wear with this polish, so it did not chip.
Ring: I get all my bling rings in Zagreb, Radićeva Ulica, where they have a lot of fun jewelry stores.
Nail Decoration Wheel: bornprettystore.com, 3D Nail Decoration Wheel, #17227
400Pcs Box, Newly Gold Silver Round, Flat Back, Acrylic UV Gel, Nail Art Decoration Hot Selling Wheel (3.52 $)
First of all, these decorations fit my nails perfectly. I only used nail polish to attach them (I would still recommend nail glue, since it's safer), and they did not stick out. I love both shades, however I used only gold ones for this look because it's a better match to the shade of the nail polish. The decorations are reusable, but there's no need to save them since you get a lot in this package. The bottom of the decorations is flat, and the top is round (half a bubble). I loved wearing them, and I think they look awesome in the photos (and in real life). The final look reminded me of something a red mermaid might wear. I'm so happy with how the final look turned out, and I highly recommend this nail wheel, I had a lot of fun using it. It's so easy to use and it looks stunning in person.

Love, Jelena
