Ombre Heart Studs from KKCenterHk

Happy Holidays! When I did a review of KKCenterHk N.NAIL Heart Studs in White - 6mm Nail Art Decorations [NNAIL-DRN628] (product LINK), I wrote that I chose the white studs because it will be easy to paint them into any shade I wanted. So here is a look I promised using those studs. You can check out my original review of the Heart Studs HERE.
This look was easy to achieve - first I had to bend the hearts so they would match my nail shape (piece of cake), then I painted the studs with nail polish. I waited about 5 minutes for them to dry, and then I applied them to my nails using nail glue. I love Ombre effect everywhere, and I had so much fun wearing this look.
Nail polishes used for this look:
Base - 2 coats of Catrice's Limited Edition Neo Geisha Collection - C01 Discreet Artist
Yellow Heart - smart girls get more, no. 36
Tangerine Heart - Deborah Milano, 19 Sombrero Tan
Orange Heart - Essence colour&go, old collection
Red Heart - Maybelline Colorama, no.75
Yes, the hearts can be re-used, but there's no need for that, since I still have a ton of them left. You really get a lot with one purchase. Anyways, I am so happy with this product and with the final look. Do you like this look?
***KKCenterHk has sent me the N.NAILS Heart Studs for reviewing purposes. All opinions are my own.

Sunset Ombre With Dots

This is an update to a look I posted yesterday. Link to that post is HERE, where you can find all the info on the products used. The dotting is done by essence's Stampy polish in black.
I do a lot of dotted looks, especially dotted ombre. I just enjoy them so much. What do you think about them ? Would you wear them?

Sunset Ombre

My original plan was to do an ombre look with dotting on it (that post is coming tomorrow). I thought I might do black dots on these nails and then paint the thumb black with dots of these four colors. Well I did that - and it looked horrible. Yikes! So I present to you this ombre, the infamous thumb excluded. ;)
The red shade is by Maybelline, no.75. Awesome texture, the new COLORAMA line is amazing!
Ring finger is by essence, from the old collection. Just a classic carrot shade.
Middle finger is by Deborah Milano, Pret A Porter, 19 Sombrero Tan. Great quality polishes.
The yellow is by Maybelline but it's from the old mini colorama collection - I'm so grateful that they've changed the formula, the old collection was not good. Not good at all. Strange bottles as well.

Come back tomorrow to check out the dotted version ;)

Colorful Clouds On Pink

Hello and happy Wednesday! Here is a fun summer look I wore. I am in love with this hot pink polish - it was sent to me by the lovely N@ILBOX, you can check out her blog HERE. This is my first Gabrini polish, I do know they're very popular here. The smell reminded me of nail polishes from my childhood (weird, right?). Anyways, I'm wearing 2 coats, but 1 is enough. Picture of other nail polishes used in the bottom of the post.
Polishes used: some old essence color&go (I figure I might use these until they expire), Deborah Milano, Eveline miniMAX shade no. 801 (this shade looks gorgeous, I havent worn it solo yet), and the Gabrini, shade no. 366. Are you enjoying the summer ?

Why Does This Remind Me Of A Turtle ?

Ok, can anyone explain to me why this look reminds me of a turtle? I dont think it has anything to do with turtles...right? Anyway, here I'm wearing 2 coats of Eveline's Mini Max no.808 (a beautiful minty shade, but I'm not liking it very much, it has a very thick texture), and the blue dots are by Deborah, no.30 'Electric Bluejeans' (old collection).
Until next time, have a great day ;)

Simple Blue Ombre

Hey guys! Very simple look today: blue ombre, 2 coats each polish. I love wearing Ombre, though my mom does not approve hehe. Polishes used:
  • thumb: S-he no. 121/295
  • forefinger: Max Factor mini 37 Prussian Blue
  • middle finger: Essence Multi dimension 40 Groovy (old)
  • ringfinger: Deborah 27 Turquoise Fever
  • pinky: Ceborah 29 Blue Paradise

Do you wear ombre often? Anyway, hope you're all enjoying the beautiful weather! I am! See you soon !

Dragon Skin With Deborah Milano

Hey girls! I decided to do a very strange mix - a gold and silver look. I never mix these two colors together but the result ended up pretty awesome - it looks like dragon skin...well if anyone can pull this look off, a dragon would be able to hehe. I guess I always imagined dragons to have gold skin with silver scales... I used only Deborah Milano products for this look. The yellow is number 20 'Yellow Submarine'. I dont like this shade by itself because it doesnt match my skin tone well, but for this look it worked very well. I think this baby is from the old collection, so it's not in stores anymore. It's very sheer, and 2 coats will not cover everything but at least it's fast drying. It's got a very nice shimmer to it, almost hologram-like. The silver glitter cracking polish on top is number 03. I think the reason this looks great is because of the glitter-cracking polish. I did notice Deborah had other glitter-cracking shades (like purple) so I'll have to go and get them, since I now adore this look.
What do you think? Do you like this look? Do you mix gold and silver? Have you tried Deborah's glitter cracking polishes? I cant believe it took me so long to get on the cracking-polish train hehe Now I'm hooked....anyway, see you guys soon, have a great day!

Sunset Clouds, The Lost Photos

Hello all!
I was going through my computer and I found these photos which I totally forgot I had! I wore my nails like this some time in July. There are three colors in there, though the orange on the yellow isnt too visible...I learned how to do this 'clouds' design from an awesome blogger called nailside...this was the first time I did this and I fell in love with it! It's super easy to do and it looks great....As for the polishes used, they yellow one is by 'Smart girls get more' no.36. Smart Girls is very popular in my country, they're very cheap and offer a wide variety of colors. This was my first time using one of their polishes and I wasnt too impressed...it was just too watery...though I think it would work fine if I had put on one additional layer. I have more of their polishes, so I hope to have a better opinion of these as I start trying them out. The orange shade is Deborah 'Sombrero Tan' - love these polishes, and I have been obsessed with them this summer! The red one is again Catrice 'Bloody Mary To Go' - another shade I used waaay too much this summer....

Anyway, hope you enjoyed this look...I had a lot of fun wearing this! See you in the next post! ;)
